We are so HAPPY to announce that we will be starting up our Basic Bicycle Maintenance course again! These classes will be starting as soon as SEPTEMBER 4TH and will run throughout the rest of 2016. We are coming up on our Fall/Winter season of races and we are so very excited to share these with you. To us, the biggest accomplishment is that as a team we grew in skill and in spirit! We did have podium wins this year and would like to congratulate all who earned these positions! We were so grateful that we were able to participate in so many of these wonderful courses because we very much enjoyed the challenges and thrills each one had to offer. We wanted to give a big shout out to all the race hosts this year across the province. We are so proud of how well the race did, and how many people from all across the province turned out to enjoy our local treasure Keppoch Mountain. We were oh so lucky that the rain held off just long enough to have a dry race. Later in the season, July 10th to be exact Highland Bike Club led by “Robert the muscle Overmars” worked tirelessly to prepare a new course for our Annual XC race at Keppoch Mountain. The course was well received and if we put it simply “WE HAD A BLAST RIDING IT!!!!”Not only did we have fun, it was a great opportunity for us to showcase our local mixed terrain to great cyclists from all across the province. It was a huge success and we have had lots of positive feedback. Lets take a look back over this race season and all that we have accomplished as a collective.įirst off we would like to “chapeau”(raise our hats) to every person that had a part in getting Keppoch Epic unto the gravel this year, especially JB. We are very excited to see you all Saturday!ĭon’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date on all things Highland! Checking over bolts and chain lubrication
